Job Title: Fire Stopper
Location: London (within the M25)
Salary: 36,000 - 40,000 + Van and fuel card
Our client is a leading passive fire protection specialist. They supplying are a well established supplier and installer of fire doors and passive fire safety solutions. They have experience delivering to public and private sectors.
This position requires you to cover within the M25, however they do always give you work that is located close to home as possible but there may be sometimes you would need to travel that bit further.
Fire Stopper Duties:
- Install fire stopping to fire doors
- Small to large penetrations
- Use of ablative batts
- Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises to include working in confined spaces
- Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS)
- Consistently achieve agreed performance targets
- Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays
- Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle
- Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements
Fire Stopper Qualifications / Experience
- NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (Essential)
- Be willing to undertake a DBS (CRB) check if required
- FIRAS (Preferred)
