The Graduate Fire Engineer's Role

The Graduate Fire Engineer will gain exposure to a balanced mix of new build and existing projects, working closely with experienced engineers to develop essential skills across fire safety design, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

You will contribute to fire strategies, computational modelling, and site inspections while supporting remediation and compartmentation projects.

  • Assisting with fire strategies, CFD modelling, and detailed fire safety design.
  • Supporting compliance with Building Regulations, Gateway processes, and site inspections.
  • Conducting external wall risk assessments and remediation planning under supervision.
  • Reviewing fire strategies and external wall reports.
  • Gaining experience in fire risk assessments, compartmentation, and refurbishment projects.


The Successful Graduate Fire Engineer Will Have

  • A degree in Fire Engineering, Engineering general or 1+ years' experience in Fire Engineering position.
  • Knowledge of UK fire regulations, including Approved Document B.
  • Experience with CFD modelling or fire strategy development.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop technical expertise.
