Are you an experienced Highway Inspector looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Inspector to join a busy client in London.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £28 - £30 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Undertake routine safety inspections of the highway.
·Issue works orders within agreed programmes and delegated limits for repairs identified in the course of the safety inspections.
·Inspect work by contractors and statutory undertakers, checking for quality and quantity and materials as per specification.
·Assist in the production of contract documents.
·Produce estimates and carry out measurements for costing purposes.
·Carry out site measurements and inspection preparatory to payment and approval of contractors work.
Previous experience in Highways is essential for this role. Carrington West are also looking for Highway Engineers and Technicians with similar backgrounds across the South of UK - please get in touch to find out more.
