We are seeking an MEP Design Assistant to work for a forward thinking, mixed-used developer support their both in the office and on-site. The Role

As the MEP Design Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of MEP services across various stages of design and construction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of MEP designs, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Conducting site visits to coordinate and oversee the implementation of MEP systems.
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure compliance with design requirements and project timelines.
  • Supporting the review of technical submittals, RFI responses, and construction documents.
  • Assisting in identifying and resolving design and installation challenges on-site.
  • Maintaining project documentation and ensuring effective communication between design and construction teams.


About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

  • A background in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering (degree or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and an understanding of industry standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work both in the office and on-site.
