We are seeking an experienced and driven Passive Fire Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality fire protection solutions across a range of projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company specialising in fire safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver passive fire protection projects from conception to completion
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
  • Carry out site inspections and ensure works are completed to specification and to a high standard
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and industry standards
  • Assist with the preparation of RAMS, technical documentation, and reports
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities and quality assurance
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the passive fire protection industry
  • Strong knowledge of fire stopping, fire doors, cavity barriers, and compartmentation
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and standards (e.g. BS 476, EN 1366, ASFP guidance)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • CSCS card (essential), SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence
