Job Title: Quality Management Lead, Surveyor - Sizewell C (SZC)

Location: Sizewell C Site

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, with the possibility of shift work including backshifts, nightshifts, and weekends, depending on project requirements.

About the Role:

Morson International is proud to partner with Sizewell C in their search for a Quality Management Lead, Surveyor. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in ensuring that quality assurance standards are met throughout the entire project life cycle, from design and procurement through to construction, testing, and completion. You will be responsible for overseeing quality control across all survey activities on site, collaborating with contractors and internal teams to ensure adherence to stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Quality Assurance checks on survey networks (Primary, Secondary, Local, and Room) within the Main and Temporary Construction Areas, ensuring timelines are met.
Monitor contractor survey activities to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
Act as the key point of contact for all survey-related aspects of the supply chain, liaising with stakeholders including civils and construction teams, contractors, and inspection bodies.
Validate contractor-submitted quantities and offer technical advice to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
Support the Quality Delivery Manager by implementing lessons learned from Hinkley Point C (HPC) and ensuring that all services and products adhere to the _Right First Time_ (RFT) principle.
Perform and manage inspections and surveillance in line with agreed surveillance strategies.
Collaborate with project functions, including supply chain and commercial teams, to ensure project quality is delivered efficiently, safely, and to specification.
What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid understanding of quality assurance within a construction environment, ideally with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Qualifications: Degree in Civil/Survey Engineering or relevant vocational qualification. Chartered Status or membership of a Professional Institute is advantageous.
Experience: Extensive experience in construction quality assurance, with specific exposure to large infrastructure projects. Nuclear experience is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong analytical and reporting skills, along with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively. You’ll be proactive, diplomatic, and able to work independently while driving teamwork.
Communication: Fluent English, both written and spoken, with excellent interpersonal skills.
