Our client is currently seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor for a contract role in a London Borough. This position involves managing an area of the Borough and providing essential building control services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day management of an area of the Borough.
- Process Building Regulation applications.
- Inspect building works ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide general building control advice to stakeholders.
- Assist the Local Authority regarding Dangerous Structures, including out of hours work.
- Deal with complex and high risk buildings.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Building Control.
- Site inspections and plan assessments
- Class 2F or Class 3
- Understanding of Building Regulation applications and compliance.
- Proficiency in inspecting building works.
- Adept at providing building control advice.
- Ability to manage Dangerous Structures and respond to out of hours emergencies.
- Competent in handling complex and high risk buildings.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
