The Role of the successful Senior Building Surveyor

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will provide comprehensive consultancy services, working across all key areas of Building Surveying, being offered exposure to a wide range of services including dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance.

Additionally, you will supervise and mentor junior team members, further developing your leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a wide range of Building Surveying services to commercial clients
  • Manage dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, and planned preventative maintenance projects
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the Building Consultancy team
The Ideal Senior Building Surveyor

The ideal Senior Building Surveyor will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a methodical, diligent, and organised approach to their work.

  • MRICS qualification
  • Commercial experience in professional instructions
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members
  • Commercially aware, organised, and methodical approach
  • Experience in construction/development monitoring, reinstatement cost assessments, and party wall matters is desirable but not essential
