Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Building Surveyor, your role will include:

  • Due Diligence – Providing expert advice to clients on property acquisitions and investments.
  • Construction Monitoring – Overseeing project delivery and ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Contract Administration – Managing contracts for construction, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) – Developing and managing maintenance schedules.
  • Dilapidations and Exit Strategy – Advising clients on lease-end obligations and strategic property exits.

Candidate RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:

  • A BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent qualification.
  • MRICS accreditation, with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a commercial Building Surveying environment.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience in managing and administering small to medium-sized construction, refurbishment, and fit-out projects (£0.5M–£10M).
  • A client-focused, results-driven approach to project delivery.
