A highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 160 years of delivering excellence across the built environment, are keen to speak with a talented Senior Building Surveyor to join their London office. Offering the successful Surveyor the opportunity to work on a major flagship heritage scheme alongside a diverse portfolio across the South East, this role also presents a clear pathway toward further progression within a national, forward-thinking practice.

The Senior Building Surveyor's Role

As the successful Senior Building Surveyor, you'll play a central role in managing and delivering a broad mix of project and professional work. You'll oversee large and complex schemes, including a major heritage development, while supporting junior colleagues and driving excellence across all stages of project life cycles.

You'll represent the consultancy in client meetings, manage internal resources, and contribute to business development activities, while promoting best practice and technical quality.

The Successful Senior Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

  • Chartered (MRICS or equivalent) with solid post-qualification experience

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • A strong technical foundation across both professional and project-led building surveying

  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and business development skills

  • A track record in managing and delivering multi-faceted projects to a high standard

  • Experience with public sector and/or heritage schemes is desirable

  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to mentoring and knowledge-sharing
