A well-established, multi-disciplinary Fire Consultancy is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join their dynamic team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within a forward-thinking consultancy, managing projects and driving innovation in fire safety.

The Senior Fire Engineer's Role

As a Senior Fire Engineer, you'll report directly to the Head of Fire Engineering, managing projects independently and liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with current fire regulations while staying ahead of future industry changes.

With strong relationships in the Commercial, High-Rise, and Residential sectors, this consultancy offers an exciting variety of projects where you can make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage fire safety projects, ensuring client expectations are met
  • Produce detailed fire strategy drawings and reports
  • Develop compartmentation strategies and escape plans
  • Conduct and review FRAEW assessments
  • Attend and lead client-facing meetings to provide expert advice
  • Contribute to business development efforts, supporting the consultancy's growth
  • Stay updated on fire safety regulations and industry developments
The Ideal Senior Fire Engineer will have
  • 4+ years' experience as a Fire Engineer
  • Strong expertise in fire strategy, compartmentation, and escape planning
  • Proficient in creating and reviewing FRAEW assessments
  • Degree educated in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial projects
  • Skilled in leading client-facing meetings and managing client relationships
  • Previous experience with business development is highly desirable
