Are you an experienced Technical Surveyor looking for a new opportunity in the housing sector? Our client, a leading housing provider, is seeking a talented Senior Technical Surveyor to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract basis

Working Pattern: Full Time

Annual Salary: £53,000 - £57,000

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting surveys and inspections to identify and assess any damp and mould issues, disrepair, and building control compliance.
  • Managing any internally procured contractors/suppliers and ensuring they deliver high-quality services and adhere to budget spend.
  • Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing repair and maintenance programmes to ensure the premises are safe and compliant.
  • Collaborating with relevant teams to plan and execute any necessary renovation works.
  • Ensuring all processes and documentation comply with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Technical Surveyor within the housing industry.
  • Knowledge and expertise in identifying and resolving damp and mould, disrepair, and building control issues.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and contractors/suppliers effectively.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think critically and problem solve.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in surveying or related field.
