Bid Manager - Paddington, London

My client are a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.

They are currently looking for a Bid Manager to their business and expand theirWork Winning team with a skilled and enthusiastic Bid Manager to be based in theirLondon Paddington Office.

As the Bid Manager you will drive andthe bid team to achieve a successful outcome for each allocated tender, following designated processes and best practice in place within the organisation.

You will ensure that a coherent bid strategy in developed, working in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and Sector Director and continually evaluate winning strategy and direct team and resources to focus on activities which will enhance our chance of bid success.

The role will require you to agree bid budgets and monitor the expenditure with theHead of Management.

You will also be responsible for arranging and co-ordinating tender and post-tender meetings and interviews with the Client and Employers Agent.

About you
Within this role, you will be required to have a sound knowledge of the UK construction market and knowledge of relevant legislation and Civil Engineering.

You must have commercial awareness of different forms of contract and strong presentation and client communication skills.
