Maintenance Operative Reports to: General ManagerWorks closely with: Facilities Manager (FM), who has an electrically-biased background and would benefit from plumbing expertise.Up to £32,000Experience Required:
  • 12-24 months of experience in any maintenance environment.
  • Ideal opportunity to develop residential maintenance skills under an experienced mentor.
  • Exposure to a variety of systems due to the site’s new build status, including snagging and defects repairs over the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ongoing snagging and defects repairs, contributing to the overall maintenance plan.
  • Learn and support the effective maintenance of all systems on-site.
  • Work in a front-facing environment; must be professional and polished when interacting with residents or clients.
  • Use tech-based systems to log repairs and tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide additional support during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Skills & Qualities:
  • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with residents and team members professionally.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using online systems to log maintenance requests and repairs.
