Growth Associate/Sales Executive

Our client is a Venture Capital business who invest in SaaS startups and provide strategic growth support to their investments. They are seeking a Growth Specialist to play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of cutting-edge SaaS start-ups across sectors such as Fintech, Insurtech, and EdTech. You'll be at the forefront of identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients and executing outreach strategies to generate and qualify leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and connecting with potential clients through calls, emails, and social media. Research target markets and tailor outreach strategies to maximise impact.
  • Assessing prospects' needs, prioritising leads and passing valuable opportunities to the appropriate teams.
  • Building strong connections with key decision-makers, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Working with internal teams to refine sales processes and positioning. Sharing market insights to strengthen messaging and engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate records of outreach efforts, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, contributing ideas, and continuously refining your approach.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year's proven experience in SaaS sales, business development or a similar role - in B2B sales.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Experience with cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple leads and outreach efforts.
  • A problem-solver who thrives in fast-moving environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.).
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently.
