We're looking for a Senior Client Services Account Manager at a large independent agency that specialises in paid and organic social media would likely have the following responsibilities and qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and ensure long-term partnerships.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of both paid and organic social media strategies that align with client goals.
  • Work with internal teams (creative, media buying, data, and analytics) to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and ensure that strategies incorporate the latest best practices.

Paid & Organic Social Media Expertise:

  • Lead strategy and optimization for campaigns across various social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Ensure a holistic approach to paid and organic social, integrating them to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Analyze and interpret performance metrics for both paid and organic campaigns, making recommendations for improvement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Mentor and guide junior account managers or coordinators within the team.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality content tailored to each platform.
  • Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and external vendors.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Regularly track and report on KPIs, providing actionable insights to clients.
  • Present monthly/quarterly performance reviews and highlight key opportunities for optimization.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and upsell additional services.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to onboard new clients and develop custom proposals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in client services, account management, or social media marketing (with at least a few years in a senior role).
  • Social Media Knowledge: Deep understanding of both paid and organic social media, including strategy development, content creation, and platform-specific best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights for optimization.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and internal collaboration.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns, clients, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Leadership: Experience in managing teams or mentoring junior staff.
