Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a leading Case Management company to recruit a Senior Case Manager who is looking to step up to a management role and progress their career:Up to £70,000 depending on experience

  • Location: Office based Central London with clients throughout the surrounding home counties

You must have close to 5 years case management experience within the same Medico-Legal Sector to be considered for this role

The client is a clinically-led case management and expert witness services company.

We are recruiting for the role of Clinical Manager to join the team and contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the company.

Duties:

To ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective case management clinical service by supporting the Managing Director and senior management team. The role includes maintaining a small fee earning case load with catastrophically injured clients, as well as providing support to the case managers

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the managing director in ensuring the staff provide a high-quality clinical service to case management clients and other stakeholders.
  • Be the clinical specialist for a speciality area.
  • Effectively supervise clinical case managers’ workload on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure high quality standards of the clinical service and performance within specific cases and service, as well as within the context of the whole company.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication of the relevant issues and information about the clinical service across the management and operational structure of the company.
  • Allocate cases and liaise with legal referrers as required.
  • Supervise and monitor the work of a small team of practitioners (case managers).
  • Support staff appraisals, identify training needs, help develop and deliver training.
  • Maintain market awareness, attending relevant conferences and PR opportunities.
  • Take part in the selection and recruitment of practitioners.
  • Participate in relevant meetings contributing KPI data as required.
  • Work closely with other members of the senior management team.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures required to meet and maintain Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements and standards.
  • Maintain current registration with your regulatory professional body, hold an enhanced DBS certification, maintain membership of relevant case management organisation/s e.g. CMSUK; BABICM; IRCM.

Essentials and Desirables:

  • Desirable -Case management experience with catastrophically injured clients (traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, complex polytrauma and orthopaedic injuries, children’s birth related injuries or trauma), overseeing complex care packages and implementing rehabilitation.
  • Experience of training, supporting & supervising other case managers whilst maintaining a level of client contact through a small case load.
  • Experience of contributing to an organisation’s strategic direction.
  • An interest in the advantages of a smaller, friendly team but benefiting from a larger organisation
  • An excellent record with producing substantial reports and a keen eye for detail.
  • Dedication and commitment to high standards, both sector specific, professional and CQC.
