Diagnostic Imaging Engineer (Field Based)

Our client is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Engineer to join their field-based team covering London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GE and Philips Diagnostic Imaging equipment.

Diagnostic Imaging Engineer - Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diagnostic imaging systems, including CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound, with a focus on GE and Philips equipment.
  • Provide on-site technical support and routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of imaging systems.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to minimise equipment downtime and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Conduct system upgrades and software updates as needed.
  • Maintain detailed service reports and communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repairs, and preventive measures.
Diagnostic Imaging Engineer - Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with GE and Philips Diagnostic Imaging equipment (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, etc.).
  • Strong technical background with a degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging service or similar roles.
  • Ability to work independently and travel across London for field-based tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence & willingness to be mobile across the designated area.
