Float Team Assistant - Trading FloorInvestment Bank based in the City5 days in the officeHourly rate £20.00p/h8am - 5.00pmBanking and Financial Experience is essential Responsibilities:
  • Extensive calendar management for large teams including MD & Partner level
  • Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and calls
  • Managing high volume of phone calls and emails and relaying information in a timely manner
  • Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings, Zooms and VCs across multiple locations
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the team, including visa applications, international flight, accommodation and car bookings
  • Implementing divisional policies and providing guidance to their team
  • Expense management and preparation
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
  • Supporting teams in day-to-day issues, needs and queries
  • Providing phone/holiday coverage for colleagues
Individual will have:
  • Experience of competing priorities
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Able to prioritise a variety of time-sensitive tasks
  • Demonstrates dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
  • Displays a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone and by e-mail to Senior Level Executives
  • Comfortable working with people at all organisational levels, internally and externally
  • Must be a team player that works well under pressure within a changing environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
  • Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
  • Proactive attitude when managing diaries and workload
  • Discretion to deal with confidential business matters
  • Positive and approachable demeanour with a “can do, muck in” attitude
  • Experience working with large teams in a highly demanding environment is desirable
