AWS DevOps Engineer - London Market - 6 Months - Outside IR35

Overview:

Eames are currently seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer, playing a pivotal role in delivering cloud-based solutions across the business. You will focus on leading significant migration projects to enhance our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Optimisation: Optimise/Rebuild CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes across various environments.
  • Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of services and applications to AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Automation & Scripting: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform. Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of cloud services.

Essential Skills:

  • AWS DevOps Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and extensive experience with cloud migrations and DevOps practices.
  • Configuration Management: Strong proficiency in Ansible for managing and automating infrastructure.
  • Scripting & Automation: Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless computing and automation.
  • Containerisation: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management

Desirable Skills:

  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools for managing continuous integration and delivery.
  • Insurance Experience: Previous experience working within the Insurance sector is highly valued.
