Our client a leading Healthcare company based in central London is looking for a remote lead DevOps Architect. Will be working collaboratively with the existing DevOps engineering team alongside the lead DevOps Architect, the individual will have an influence and diverse workload covering.

  • Design Automation of infrastructure and software rollout using Azure DevOps pipelines, including quality gates such as peer reviews.
  • Design and develop Infrastructure, using an IaC approach, that aligns with industry best practices such as the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Design and develop automatic scaling and highly available solutions.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Development and Architecture, to ensure that Azure technologies are being used correctly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Security teams to design secure solutions from the get-go and assist with validating designs against best practices.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and advising on how they could be used to better the existing architecture (this will likely include completing a PoC.

Key Skills:-

  • Strong documentation and diagramming skills to convey complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • An understanding of Azure PaaS components.
    • AKS (deployment + management)
    • API Management
    • App Services
    • Azure SQL
    • Functions
    • Networking
    • App Insights
    • Data Factory
    • Databricks
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Terraform
    • HELM charts
    • Flux
    • Powershell / Azure CLI

Advantageous:

  • Healthcare or Government related industry experience
  • Understanding of JIRA and Confluence
