Cloud Engineer - London | Hybrid - £55,000 - £70,000
I'm looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join one of NearTech's London-based clients. They operate in the Fashion / E-commerce realm and are a global brand, with stores across the UK and the US. As part of their continued growth trajectory (roughly 12-15% YOY), they're now looking for a Cloud Engineer to join their London cohort in their thriving technical team.
This role will encompass Azure Cloud Engineering alongside Middleware work, and pivots itself as a strong opportunity for those wishing to experience working with an established brand, good career growth, and importantly, working with some of the most cutting-edge technologies available on the market today.
Your role will be to help facilitate cross-platform pollination and integration, helping enable the business to continue to grow. Whilst no two days will look the same, some of the key tasks will be:
- Azure experience and integration - working heavily in azure to develop and manage cloud-based applications and, where possible, optimising the Azure resources available
- Middleware Development - ensuring solutions work to integrate various pre-existing solutions and 3rd party services, working on the design, building and maintenance of these areas.
- API development and integration - working on RESTfulAPIs to aid in communication between internal and external systems
What's needed from you?
- Azure - strong experience in this area. They use Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure DevOps - you don't need to know absolutely every one, but I'd expect candidates with 3/4+ years of experience with Azure
- Middleware solutions - using some of the above Azure services alongside areas such as Azure SQL / Cosmos DB / Azure API Management
- Coding - 2/3+ years of experience with C#/Python would be great to have
- Git / best coding practices
This role is actively hiring with interview availability early January.
They're based in Central London and operates a hybrid working policy - 2-3 days in per week.
The company cannot provide visa sponsorship.
