We are seeking a Chief Architect to spearhead our clients cloud solutions practice. In this pivotal role, you will lead technical pre-sales initiatives and support our clients go-to-market (GTM) strategies for cloud services. A deep understanding of cloud architecture and strong presales expertise are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and engineering teams. Your efforts will be crucial in delivering cloud solutions that meet business needs and drive the growth of our clients cloud practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Practice Leadership

- Define and drive the strategic vision for the cloud solutions practice, aligning it with market trends and customer needs.
- Develop comprehensive cloud solutions and service offerings across major platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Curate and manage the cloud service portfolio to ensure it delivers business value and meets customer expectations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies to continuously enhance the cloud practice.


Pre-Sales Support

- Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify cloud opportunities through client interactions and technical assessments.
- Lead the technical presales process, including solution design, architecture validation, and cloud migrations.
- Deliver engaging technical presentations, demos, and proofs of concept (POCs) to showcase the value of our client's cloud solutions.
- Assist in crafting proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation for prospective clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical pre-sales activities, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.


GTM Strategy Support

- Collaborate with Market Unit and CoE teams to design and implement GTM strategies for cloud offerings.
- Develop pricing models, service delivery frameworks, and sales enablement resources to promote cloud adoption.
- Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers and leverage organizational alliances to accelerate cloud growth.


Client Engagement & Delivery Oversight

- Act as a trusted cloud advisor to clients, offering strategic consulting and tailored solution recommendations.
- Engage with customers during the project initiation phase to ensure alignment on technical strategy, architecture, and deployment.
- Oversee the transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring seamless hand-offs to technical teams and project managers.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work alongside engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure that cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of cloud solutions.


Performance Tracking & Reporting

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud sales, market penetration, and solution adoption.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on cloud practice performance, sales pipeline, and GTM initiatives.
- Analyze customer feedback and technical challenges to continually enhance our client's service offerings.


Qualifications:

- Vast experience working within the Insurance Sector, as the majority of clients you will be working with will be within this space.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in cloud technologies, focusing on technical sales, pre-sales, or cloud solution architecture.
- Proven ability to design and deliver cloud solutions across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Strong background in pre-sales, including solution design, technical presentations, and crafting cloud proposals.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native services, hybrid cloud deployments, and migration strategies.
- Experience in supporting GTM strategies, including pricing models, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams, including sales, engineering, product, and delivery.


Preferred Skills

- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience in developing cloud security and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation tools.
- Experience collaborating with system integrators, cloud service providers, and technology partners.
