We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Cloud Engineer to join our client, an established retail firm, to play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure across its AWS platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure across an AWS environment.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure, resilient, and cost-optimized, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance cloud performance, availability, and security.
  • Support cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to improve cloud strategies and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer working with AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native services, networking, security, and automation.
  • Hands-on expertise with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize cloud environments for performance and cost.
