Great New Permanent Opportunity.
UK Remote with 5 years living in the UK due to financial checks
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure that supports the company’s SaaS platform using Azure services.
- Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD processes with Azure pipelines and custom deployment solution.
- Support and collaborate with the development team.
- Monitor and optimise system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of the SaaS platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, minimising downtime, and disruption to services.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across teams.
Key Requirements:
- Good experience and knowledge as a DevOps and/or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (min 2 years).
- Good experience and knowledge of using Azure cloud services (min 2 years).
- Good experience and knowledge with Terraform IaC tools (min 2 years).
- Good experience and knowledge with Git and Azure DevOps, or equivalent (min 2 years).
- Previous experience with scripting languages such as Bash, and PowerShell.
- Previous experience with Windows based systems.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and/or experience of resiliency and disaster recovery best practices.
- Knowledge and/or experience of security, monitoring, and observability solutions.
- Knowledge and/or experience of containerization technologies and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Previous experience with Linux-based systems.
- Previous experience with any of the following programming languages: C#, Go, Python.
- Previous experience with other IaC tools such as Ansible, Packer.
