About the Role:

Lorien Global are working with a leading provider of secure cloud-based collaboration software, is seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to join their team. After a recent acquisition they're now powered with investment to grow their business with ambitious plans to add new operations and technical staff over the coming months. This is a fully remote role with occasional office visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management - Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.
  • CI/CD Pipelines - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
  • Cloud Native Technologies - Leverage containerisation and serverless technologies for efficient and scalable deployments.
  • Security - Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure, implementing robust security measures.
  • Monitoring and Alerting - Set up monitoring systems to track system health and proactively address issues.
  • Automation - Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with development, security, and product teams.
  • Incident Management - Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
  • Performance Optimisation - Monitor and optimise system performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
