Google Cloud - Appsheet Developer

Installation Technology (IT) have been providing network solutions for over 30 years. We work with some of the biggest organisations in education, healthcare and transport. Our client in partnership with Installation Technology is delivering Telecoms Commercialisation Project (TCP) across 136 London underground stations and the adjacent tunnels. This system will enable 4G/5G coverage layers on London Underground Network. The newly installed antenna system will be tested, commissioned and integrated as per industry standards.

We are looking for an Appsheet Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile and web applications to capture survey and installation documents to support our engineers on site as well as the QA function. The role requires the Appsheet Developer to work within the scope of assigned projects between Installation Technology Limited and its clients, suppliers, and contractors. This role will lead to managing the Appsheet workstream to ensure the success of the development work within the scope of the projects while working within a team structure reporting to a Senior Project Manager and COO. The role will require excellent teamwork attributes, innovative Google AppSheet Development, and experience in implementing highly complex applications.

AppSheet Development:

• Design and develop mobile and web applications using Google AppSheet, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Customise and configure AppSheet apps to meet specific business

Requirements Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements
• Translate business needs into functional AppSheet applications

Integration:

• Integrate AppSheet applications with other third-party systems and databases
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy through effective integration solutions

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough testing of AppSheet applications to identify and address any issues
• Collaborate with QA teams to define and execute comprehensive testing plans

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for AppSheet applications, including data models and workflows
• Provide user documentation and training to ensure effective adoption of the developed solutions

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Address and resolve issues related to AppSheet applications in a timely manner
• Provide technical support to end-users and assist in issue resolution

Stay Informed:

• Stay abreast of the latest developments and updates in Google AppSheet
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge to optimise application development

Competence:

• Appsheet Business Application Creator Certification plus a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Google AppSheet Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Google AppSheet platform, including expressions, actions, and integrations
• Solid understanding of mobile and web application development principles
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and data security best practices
