Infrastructure Architect, VMWare, Azure
Infrastructure Architect required for a well-known organisation based in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the project architecture design for large scale infrastructure developments. Communicating proposed infrastructure designs and architecture within the project to establish project approval from the project team, including the business analyst, development solution architecture, and test teams.
You will also ensure that project level infrastructure designs and architecture meet the business objectives and technical requirements.
PLEASE NOTE:-This role is on site 5 days per weekEngagement is via umbrella company only

- Oracle
- Redhat
- Storage (EMC)
- Knowledge of structured architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Knowledge of hosting and infrastructure and end user computing architectures
- ITIL
Responsibilities: -
- Define and implement infrastructure standards, principles & building blocks in relation with technology development and industry best practices
- Creating architecture proposals, high and low level designs
- Development of Infrastructure roadmaps & specific business nonfunctional requirements to include performance, security, reliability and availability of service
- Analyse the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies in the infrastructure and recommend solutions for improvement
- Ensure that project impacts on the infrastructure are identified, assessed, assured, and documented
- Develop and define future product roadmaps
