Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS Argo CD Kubernetes) London / WFH to £120k

Are you a senior DevOps Engineer with experience of migrating legacy systems to AWS within a financial services or banking environment?

You could be joining a global technology consultancy, in a senior, hands-on role.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will work on Greenfield projects for a number of well-known, global clients. You will be working on automating and optimising DevOps processes, building out CI/CD pipelines and taking ownership of client platforms with a particular focus on migrating legacy systems to AWS for a major client.

Other responsibilities will encompass developing and deploying containerised applications using Docker, managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal deployment, scaling and management of applications, IaC to automate infrastructure provisioning, implementation of monitoring and logging solutions and troubleshooting of infrastructure or application performance.

This is a highly technical, impactful role where you'll lead DevOps activities for clients (but not have people management responsibilities).

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in London 2-3 days on a hybrid work from home basis.

About you:

  • You are a talented DevOps Engineer with experience of migrating legacy systems to AWS within a financial services or banking environment
  • You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and DevOps culture
  • You have strong AWS experience
  • You have experience of building CI/CD pipelines using Argo CD and managing them via GitLab CI / GitLab Runners
  • You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation
  • You have experience of automating processes using Helm for managing Kubernetes deployments
  • You are degree educated, Computer Science or similar STEM discipline
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills
