Sonic Summary

The position is for a highly technical client in the Gene-Sequencing space, requiring expertise in DevOps and Software Engineering for a drug discovery project.
The contract is for 6 months with an immediate start, offering a salary of £500 per day, and requires the candidate to be on-site in London for 2 days a week.
Candidates must have experience with GCP Cloud technologies, DevOps tools, and programming languages such as Python and React.
Experience working on drug discovery projects alongside scientists and familiarity with Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) is essential.
The role is outside IR35 and requires a strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical needs.

I am currently supporting a highly technical client based in the Gene-Sequencing space. The ideal candidate will have previously delivered DevOps and Software Engineering expertise across a drug discovery project, will have worked with Lab info management systems (LIMS) and have expert experience across GCP DevOps and various programming languages.

Required Skills/Experience

Must have experience with GCP Cloud technologies such as Cloud Build, Cloud Storage and GKE Kubernetes.
Exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, Vertex AI and Mongo DB is essential
Background in software development with programming languages such as Python and React
Must have experience working on a Drug Discovery Project alongside Scientists.
Demonstrate ability to gather business requirements alongside scientists and translate these into DevOps/Software needs
Experience working with Lab info management systems (LIMS) is also essential
