- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to enhance IT team skills.
- Advocate for and implement DevOps principles across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver efficient, automated solutions.
- Develop and maintain templates and processes for consistent delivery.
- Peer review CI/CD pipeline changes and ensure robust workflows.
- Design and deliver solutions with Enterprise Architects.
- Promote upskilling and self-service capabilities in engineering teams.
- Identify and improve automation processes in partnership with leadership.
- Offer out-of-hours support for critical issues on a rota basis.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and change records.
- Proven experience mentoring and coaching technical teams.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps (boards, pipelines) and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of YAML pipeline templates, Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and cloud governance tools.
- Proficient in networking and security practices, including RBAC and Azure policies.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions and cloud-based high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, VMware, and Meraki networks for automation.
- Experience with TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and ServiceNow scripting (desirable).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
