My new client is looking for Senior Devops Engineer with extensive Nomad experience to join the team on a contract.

Requirements:

  • Experience using the Nomad Command-Line-Interface (CLI)
  • Experience with Unix-based systems for the purposes of automating the provisioning of Nomad clusters
  • Experience with Hashicorp Configuration Language (HCL) for task & deployment manifests.
  • Experience provisioning multi-zonal (regional) Nomad clusters
  • Experience configuring Nomad clusters with various levels of access-control for users and service accounts
  • Experience installing & configuring Consul on Nomad clusters
  • Experience setting up workload identity federation for Google Cloud service authentication
  • Kubernetes :
  • Docker and CI/CD processes
  • GCP Services : Cloud Functions, Big Query, GKE etc.
  • Python
