Dev Ops Specialist - Contract Position (6 months)

At our client's organisation, your expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and the Observability stack will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of their systems. As a Dev Ops Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact on their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development and operations teams to automate processes and improve system reliability
  • Manage and monitor infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and the Observability stack
  • Identify and resolve infrastructure and performance issues effectively
  • Implement best practises in deployment automation and orchestration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and optimise resources
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Dev Ops processes and practises

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and the Observability stack
  • Proficiency in Java is preferred but not mandatory
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
