About Us:

The Role:

As an Account Manager / Director, you will:

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing education clients.
  • Recruit and secure new large enterprise clients.
  • Drive customer opportunities through strategic planning and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to develop long-term strategies.
  • Generate high-quality proposals and quotations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver insightful reports.
  • Stay updated with the latest products and competitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, key vendors, and partners.
  • Provide expertise and support to junior sales team members.
  • Deliver outstanding proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by liaising with internal teams.
  • Maintain relevant sales certifications and accreditations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrable achievement of recent sales targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to generate and deliver comprehensive account plans.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience in presenting proposals to senior client levels.
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong time management and organisational abilities.

Experience Required:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT sales, with at least 3 years in account management.
  • Sector Knowledge: Experience in the UK education sector is highly desirable.
  • Product Expertise: Experience selling IT support services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, connectivity/WAN solutions, wireless networks, unified communications, and classroom technology/hardware.
  • Client Engagement: Proven ability to develop trusted advisor relationships with Multi-Academy Trusts, schools, and local authorities.
