About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to manage high-growth, complex client accounts and drive continuous year-on-year revenue growth. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle for live and virtual events, ensuring seamless execution, client satisfaction, and profitability. Based in London with potential for remote work, you will lead pitches, handle client relationships, and collaborate closely with project and design teams to deliver high-quality event solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client & Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, drive account growth, and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Project Oversight: Lead project initiation and ensure delivery within budget, on time, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Sales & Pitches: Own the sales process from initial contact to the signed agreement, lead high-value pitches, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Manage event budgets, maintain profitability, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Event Strategy & Innovation: Propose strategic solutions for live and virtual events, staying updated on the latest industry trends.
  • Post-Event Review: Conduct post-event debriefs, gather insights, and ensure marketing content is collected for case studies.
Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Proven experience managing client accounts in the events industry.
  • Strong leadership in project management, budgeting, and financial oversight.
  • Ability to drive sales, lead pitches, and close high-value deals.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Experience with event management tools like Asana and Procim is a plus.
