Role overview:Â
We are looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager to join our Management Consultancy team. This team specializes in Professional Services, Property and Architectural Services, and the Energy sector. The successful candidate will support high-volume procurements, manage internal and external frameworks, handle call-offs, and oversee small value tenders (below £170k), single source requirements, and contract variations.
Key Information:Â
Location: 2-3 days Southwark Office/2 days WFH
Daily rate: £300 PAYE or £403.54 Umbrella per day
Contract length: 31/03/2025
Experience:
• Public Sector Procurement (People and Services)
• Be able to manage several procurements at one time
• Experience in procuring against Public Contracts Regulations 2015
• Experience in running procurement, including call offs from public sector frameworks
• Experience in writing internal governance papers
• Stakeholder experienceÂ
• SAP Ariba (desirable)
• Qualified to CIPS professional standard or equivalent
