This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to further advance their careers.The Role:Associate Director – Sales Operations Strategic Projects Lead (R&B)Our Sales Operations vision is to drive growth through improvements in sales productivity. The role has been created to lead global strategic projects for our R&B segment. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders to execute change that will enable sales teams deliver their full potential and continually improve client experience. Key responsibilities include:
  • Build and maintain internal relationships with senior stakeholders (R&B Business and Sales Leaders) 
  • Oversee the sales management framework structure, a forum of global business leaders to be created with the objective of accelerating sales growth: 
    • Projects – Take responsibility for delivery of selected strategic projects 
    • Project overview – track and manage all major project for R&B
    • Communications – lead communications to key stakeholders, identifying key messages and updates 
    • Decisions: drive key decisions in steerco meetings including preparing supporting materials, defining decisions and supporting decision making in meetings
  • Partner with the various Sales Leaders to identify issues and scope projects to deliver address those. Ideas could include: 
    • Sales strategy, goal setting and go to market support
    • Pipeline management, lead tracking and sales forecasting
    • Co-ordination and tracking of sales campaigns
    • Identify sales training requirements and co-ordinate with learning & development colleagues to ensure delivery
This is a hands-on delivery role which requires good project management skills (organisation, management, communication - both written and verbal). The role will work closely with the Global R&B Sales Ops leader.The Requirements:
  • Skilled at building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Sales Management, Operations 
  • Project Management skills desirable
  • Degree in Business, Sales Operations or similar is beneficial
  • Demonstrable communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Practical knowledge of sales strategy, account development and sales management
  • Highly analytical and competent when working with large data sets
  • Ability to represent the Sales Operations practice and WTW with integrity and credibility
  • Experience in a CRM system is advantageous 
  • Competent in Microsoft tools – primarily excel (Vlookups, pivot tables and advanced formula) and PowerPoint
The role is remote so the location of the successful candidate is flexible, however the line manager for this role is located in Europe so the colleague should expect to work Europe hours and be available to talk to colleagues globally. Some travel may be required as determined by the role.
