Business Development: Lighting: South East

Our client is looking for a person to break new ground in the linear architectural LED sector outside of the lighting design community. Developing new business with a high-quality linear LED solution for architectural and decorative lighting applications, based around high quality, EU manufactured LED Tape along with custom and proprietary extrusions and accessories. Much of the product is assembled to order at their Head office base.

The product is sold is marketed directly to the UK architectural specification sector by Architainment Lighting.

Position

Target areas: M and E Consultants, End clients, Retail roll outs ,Specialist Contractors, Interior Designers

They have some existing clients in the above that the candidate would take over.

Key duties and responsibilities include;

• Managing and overseeing Architape projects.

• Business development with existing and new Accounts.

• Working with Technical Services department and Manufacturing to deliver solutions.

• Liaison with manufacturers, clients and internal teams.

• Developing and maintaining a sales funnel.

• Development and achievement of targets.

• Reporting to the Sales Director.

Key Skills required;

• Experience in Lighting sales preferably tape products.

• Contacts within the above target customers.

• Confident energetic self-starter

• Team player

• Great communicator

• Driver’s license

The position will be based at their High Wycombe offices but they anticipate a good deal of time on the road seeing customers. There will be a requirement to travel within the UK on a regular basis and outside of the UK on occasions as required.
