Business Development Director

The Opportunity

We are a contract cleaning and soft services provider to the FM arena in London, and widely regarded as the employer of choice. We manage and support both end user clients and managing agents with several Iconic buildings and developments you will recognise.

We are looking for a sales professional that has been trained in strategic sales and can demonstrate prior success in the commercial contract cleaning solution sales arena.

The Package

  • £75 - 85k basic
  • 120k OTE uncapped
  • 5k Car Allowance
  • Home based with 2-3 days per week in London
  • 35 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
  • Flexible hours

The Role of The Business Development Director

To generate new sales and retained sales for the company including non-contractual business for the London division.

Over half of your revenue stream will be referral and account development through our FM Partners.

The BDD needs to work on four levels; ensuring that all the activities are engaged at the same time in order to achieve positive results:

  1. Work on referral tender opportunities in private sector, mainly focussing on commercial opportunities in London.
  2. Generate and develop longer term prospects and ensure there is a top 20 prospect list, which will lead to eventual quotation opportunities.
  3. Self-generate and convert tender opportunities on a regular basis to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  4. Attending and converting the generated marketing appointments.

The Person

  • Proven track record in strategical commercial cleaning contract sales
  • Experienced in surveys, pricing and end to end solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Motivated by targets and KPI's
  • Team player and collaborative
