Description

The successful Business Development Executive will:

  • Driving Licence REQUIRED - covering in / around / outside of London (rental car available/car allowance)
  • Identify and pursue NEW business opportunities within the Off-Trade + On-Trade channels - including distributors and wholesalers
  • Inherit a pipeline and pick up warm business, as well as, using your drive and initiative to expand and find new leads, upsell, cross sell.
  • Use a variety of channels to build the new business pipeline including digital (email and social media)
  • Own and implement strategies and activities related to business development
  • Qualify sales leads by successfully winning pitch meetings for the founders and the relevant sales and marketing team members to attend
  • Be responsible for closing deals from prospecting a lead through to completing the sale
  • Own the sales process from research, sales pipeline management, pitch management, reporting and forecasting
  • Create and refine sales tools to support business development, which can also be used by the wider sales team
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunitities

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Comfortable with numbers and hungry to hit targets
  • Previous experience in sales/new business/partnerships is preferred
  • Passionate! Lover of Food and Drink and love great tasting drinks that are healthy alternatives!
  • Can roll up your sleeves and be all in
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Can stay 'cool' under pressure
  • Be commercial / entrepreneurial (think outside the box, think differenty)
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
