- Identifying and targeting potential clients through market research, industry events, and networking
- Generating leads and building a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities
- Selling exhibition stands and packages for the trade show annually
- Keeping a clear and accurate record of activities, opportunities, and sales via Salesforce CRM system
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Creating compelling proposals and presentations to showcase event services and capabilities
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborating with the event planning team to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded
- Preparing reports on sales performance and market trends
- Travelling to industry events domestically and internationally depending on experience
- Minimum 1 year of corporate sales experience  Â
- Must be able to work 5 days based in the office
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Highly organised with a pro-active working style
- Team player and the ability to offer support outside of main responsibilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Sales experience preferable
- Customer service experience preferable
- Previous phone based experience
- Comfortable working within a phone based role
- Tech savvy being proficient with Microsoft 365 and being able to pick on internal systems quickly
