BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVEAn industry leading construction and engineering company is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team on a permanent basis. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ROLE:
  • Proactively supporting work winners with business development initiatives, providing insights on key clients, markets, and sectors
  • Acting as a primary contact for business development activities, assisting with strategic bids
  • Coordinating input for an integrated BD & Marketing plan, including conducting market and sector research to inform strategies
  • Actively gathering intelligence to track business opportunities
  • Supporting the creation and monitoring of Key Relationship Management (KRM) plans for identified key clients
  • Informing the development of propositions and thought leadership by identifying trending themes in sectors and markets
  • Contributing to content creation for capability statements, presentations, and website materials
  • Conducting data analysis to identify and report on trends from collated statistics
  • Leveraging opportunity insights to provide bid coordinators with support on “must win” bids
  • Sharing intelligence across sectors and markets, aiding the business development community
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE ESSENTIALS:
  • 2 years of Business Development experience
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to form relationships across all levels of the business
  • Organised and methodical approach to tasks
  • Confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations
  • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  • Excellent computer and IT skills and the ability to conduct data analysis
