My client, a leading financial services firm is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Markets & Products team in London. Reporting to the Business Development Lead, the new hire will assist in enhancing brand recognition and driving financial growth in both public and private markets.
The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities , maintaining relationships, coordinating business development efforts, and ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives across both market segments.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of action plans, growth, and sales strategies that will help the firm achieve its growth objectives in the public and private markets. This includes international brand recognition, new customer acquisition, business opportunities, and client and service optimisation.
The ideal candidate will likely be in their second job, with experience in a law firm or a broader professional services firm, as their client base includes professionals from these sectors.
Your role will involve:
- Engaging with listing members, issuers, and intermediaries
- Identifying new business opportunities and market trends
- Maintaining and updating the CRM system
- Organising meetings, events, and presentations
- Developing a deep understanding of their core offerings and services
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities
- Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and pitches
- Coordinating marketing strategies and promotional activities
- Attending industry-specific events to expand our network
