We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive to join a prestigious law firm based in central London. This role is pivotal in supporting the Intellectual Property team, both in the UK and internationally, to achieve their business development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Partners and BD colleagues to provide ongoing business development support.
- Identify opportunities to develop new business or cross-sell services, utilising market intelligence.
- Leverage marketing technology to track key relationships and measure the success of initiatives.
- Support key client relationships and cross-selling initiatives.
- Assist in creating compelling credentials, proposals, and pitches for fast turn-around bids and strategic panels.
- Work with the Events and BD Operations teams on client events.
- Provide support on legal directory and award submissions processes.
- Manage and support thought leadership campaigns, BD products, client communications, and marketing initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive, tenacious, and creative approach with a strong commercial awareness.
- Solid business development and client relationship management experience within the legal sector or professional services.
- Experience in the corporate legal and/or tech sector is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire fee earners to deliver business goals and change behavior where required.
- Ability to work to deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and deliver under pressure.
