- Proactively supporting work winners with business development initiatives, providing insights on key clients, markets, and sectors
- Acting as a primary contact for business development activities, assisting with strategic bids
- Coordinating input for an integrated BD & Marketing plan, including conducting market and sector research to inform strategies
- Actively gathering intelligence to track business opportunities
- Supporting the creation and monitoring of Key Relationship Management (KRM) plans for identified key clients
- Informing the development of propositions and thought leadership by identifying trending themes in sectors and markets
- Contributing to content creation for capability statements, presentations, and website materials
- Conducting data analysis to identify and report on trends from collated statistics
- Leveraging opportunity insights to provide bid coordinators with support on “must win” bids
- Sharing intelligence across sectors and markets, aiding the business development community
- 2 years of Business Development experience
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to form relationships across all levels of the business
- Organised and methodical approach to tasks
- Confident, proactive character, with the ability to take the lead in challenging situations
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
