Business Development Manager/Bid Writer

We have a great opportunity for an experienced bid writer with business development skills for a consultancy in London.

Your role will be to assist the Directors in identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as monitoring public sector framework sites.

Duties:

Lead on framework and bid submissions:

  • Analysing tender documents to ensure needs of client met
  • Preparing bid preparations within deadlines
  • Preparing case studies and other reference materials
  • Editing or rewriting previous tenders to reuse as relevant
  • Ensuring bids are accurate and delivered on time

You will also be expected to build relationships with clients and partners, assessing current partnerships and markets with a view to build on what is working and implementing new systems, if required.

Your strong BD experience will allow you to drive engagement and CRM management, with a focus on existing key clients and working on building new ones.

Market trends are important to our client and you will take responsibility for tracking emerging and identifying new market trends.
