Our client, a leading business in the Education sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team at an exciting time of growth.
Due to expansion our client is looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in the Education sector to join them, overseeing and managing a number of existing clients whilst building and maintaining new relationships, generating increased income into the business.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the Education sector and be confident working with clients of all sizes, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
The role is completely remote, although travel to some client’s sites will be expected for client meetings etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network and build new relationships, securing new clients within the Education sector
- Meet annual and regional revenue goals, building clients and networks in the education sector
- Endeavour to deliver year-on-year growth of accounts, whilst building on existing client accounts as well
- Close a number of varied deals and contracts with clients in the Education sector up and down the UK
- Maintain a continued knowledge of products and services
- Compile quotes and proposals for clients
Key Experience:
- Previous experience in the Education sector is essential
- Proven consultative sales experience
- Confident networking and building new relationships with clients
- Experienced in managing existing clients, increasing ongoing revenue whilst building new client relationships
- Driven and motivated, confident working in a target-driven environment
- Strong communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Strong understanding of the Education sector, knowing who to contact whilst proposing specific deals to clients
