Our client, a forward-thinking organisation in the realm of copyright licencing, is seeking an Interim Commercial Director for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role. This exciting opportunity is based in Southwark, London.
About our client:Our client empowers organisations with legal protection for sharing content, allowing seamless usage of articles and extracts from a variety of publications. Their mission is to facilitate legal access to published content while ensuring fair royalties for copyright owners.
Role Summary:As the Interim Commercial Director, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be a vital member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). You'll take the lead in shaping the UK revenue and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with our three-year business plan and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the ELT to set a clear direction for staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
- Lead the commercial team, ensuring financial targets, marketing plans, and KPIs are well communicated and understood.
- Mentor and support heads of various departments in their growth and development, maximising their potential and contribution.
- Provide updates on the commercial strategy to ELT and Board members, ensuring clarity and avoiding jargon.
- Partner with the wider business to deliver on strategic objectives and promote a culture of collaboration.
- Assist in developing a new three-year plan for the organisation starting April 2026.
