Are you ready to take the next step in your career, leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional customer service? National Car Parks (NCP) is seeking a dedicatedCommercial Duty Managerto join our team.

Shift Pattern:A rotational shift pattern working 8 am to 4pm Sunday to Thursday for 2 weeks, and then switching over to 4pm to 12am Tuesday to Saturday.

As a Commercial Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our car parks, while delivering outstanding customer experiences. Working closely with the Commercial Operations Manager, youll take charge of frontline teams, uphold operational standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing a dynamic team of 15+ colleagues across 6 sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a high-performing frontline team, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor car park operations to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Oversee staffing levels, labour costs, and team schedules to meet business needs.
  • Deputise for the Commercial Operations Manager during their absence.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Conduct equipment and vehicle checks, taking remedial action as required.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Contact Centre to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

About You:

Were looking for an organised and proactive individual with:

  • Proven experience managing customer-facing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational compliance.
  • Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Flexibility to work a mixture of day and night shifts, including weekends.

Experience with automated or mechanical equipment is desirable but not essential.
