Commercial Manager - Hotels

£40,000 - £47,000 + Commission + Excellent Benefits

Leading media events business seeks a highly talented commercial manager to join their rapidly growing sales team selling across an industry leading luxury hotel exhibition portfolio.

You will be tasked with selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities at a number of large-scale events.

If you speak an international language, ideally Dutch this would be highly advantageous.

This position involves a mix of key account management and new business with regular face to face meetings.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have either a strong exhibition sales background or possibly have worked within the luxury/ boutique hotel space and are keen to transition into a commercial sales role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be a commercial leader for the division; exceeding revenue targets across all revenue lines through exhibition sales and sponsorship sales.
  • Develop sales strategies by forecasting future trends and analysis of market conditions.
  • Securing business through multi-channel approach, including; calls, social media, email, face-to-face, attending events and networking events.
  • Identify, qualify and deliver new business through gap analysis of current customers
  • Utilising upselling techniques to provide additional solutions to existing clients, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of their business.
  • Ensure that monthly sales KPI’s are achieved. Profile of Candidate:
  • Ideally 3 years + in exhibition / sponsorship sales
  • We are open to candidates from a luxury/boutique hotel background looking to transition into sales
  • Ideally fluent in Dutch - not a deal breaker
  • Be entrepreneurial and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage own time effectively.
  • Have high emotional levels of intelligence and be skilled in the art of relationship building.
  • Personable, Enthusiastic with a can do, will do attitude - a real team player.
